Existing team members, and additional team members we seek, are representatives of four categories of organizations/groups.
  • Specific outdoor recreation interest groups or clubs, such as for hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, off-highway motor vehicle use, camping, canoeing, kayaking, or sailing.
  • Industries which benefit from these activities, such as hotels, restaurants, & gift shops (tourism); real estate; tour operators; and sporting goods, bicycle, & off highway vehicle dealers; to name a few.
  • Local government departments responsible for promoting the economic well-being of their communities or meeting the recreational needs of their citizens.
  • Chambers of commerce and regional economic partnerships.
Team members are or may be involved at two different 'levels'.
  • Board Members:  Some hold elected offices and some do not.  All have votes on matters of governance of the corporation.
  • Advisers:  These are folks who avidly support our mission but can not commit to occasional Board meetings due to tight work and/or travel schedules, or who can not be Board members due to possible conflict of interest given other affiliations.
If you are a good 'fit' in any of these categories and interested
